[Tango Synergy Members] Final Outdoor Milonga - Wednesday 23 May - Leichhardt Italian Forum

Autumn is starting to turn on some chilly evenings and therefore Tango
Synergy’s outdoor milongas at the Leichhardt Italian Forum are coming to an
end.

Tomorrow night is our last evening until spring, so do hope you can come and
join us.

We are in need of a DJ so if anybody would like to volunteer, please call me
on 0414 527369.

Tango Synergy will be applying to start our outdoor milongas again in
Spring, so hopefully this won't be the last one at this unique venue. Also
we hope to have a proper portable dance floor by then also.

 

Thanks to everyone who came to our first combined Tango/Salsa milonga last
Friday night. We had a very successful night and even had a profit which
will feed into the purchase of a permanent sound system. Having Salsa in the
room next door gave everyone a chance to loosen up to the great music
provided by Klaus and John. Thanks also to Chris who kept everyone on the
dance floor with his Tango playlist. We hope you agree that this is a
wonderful and unique opportunity to dance both styles at the one venue. I’m
confident that this will be a great form of cross promotion for Argentine
Tango also.

 

Our next monthly milonga will be June 15 and please also diarise the
fabulous Yuletide Milonga on the 21st July 2007, held at the gorgeous
Carrington Hotel in the Blue Mountains. Imagine a weekend away with your
friends from tango. It will surely be a weekend to remember.
