Bundanoon Tango Weekend Retreat, 24-25 November 


BASH FAQ

 


Hooray it’s here, BASH is on this weekend! So, here’s what you need to know:


*         If you haven’t booked your ticket, email Karen at HYPERLINK

Pre-bookings are essential, however you can pay at the door. 


*         On Saturday, vote before you go. Only NSW residents can do an
absentee vote in Bundanoon. 


*         Bundanoon is 2 hours drive from Sydney, just south of Moss Vale.
Major signs to Bundanoon from the Hume highway exist. 


*         The venue for all events is the Soldiers Memorial Hall, on Railway
Ave, diagonally opposite the railway station. 


*         Saturday practica is 2.00 – 4.30pm. Entry is free with a milonga
ticket. 


*         Workshops with Damian Thompson are at 12.30pm on Saturday and
9.30am on Sunday. Book with Karen at garnett at mysoul.com.au - $12 for 1 or
$20 for 2 workshops – see below


*         If you’ve booked for the group dinner at the Bundanoon Hotel, just
turn up in the restaurant between 6.30-8.00pm, tell them you’re with the
Tango Retreat and order from the a la carte menu. 


*         The Saturday night milonga is 8.00pm -12.30am. Dress is ‘glam’ ie
best tango frocks. Light snacks and champagne (1 glass per person) will be
provided. You can also BYO. 


*         The Sunday practica is 11.00am-1.00pm. Entry is free with a
milonga ticket. 


*         Then you can all go home! But don’t forget to check out the Glow
Worm Glen, have a decadent muffin at Ye Olde Bicycle Shoppe, browse the
nick-nack shops and sample the haggis!

Wednesday night Practica this week at Mr Marys


Have you been to this wonderful venue? Word’s starting to get out about the
friendly vibe, great dance floor and variety of music.


Time: 8pm – midnight


DJ: Rebecca is our chick DJ tonight (sorry I made an error last week)


Introductory Beginner class for 30 mins at 8pm available by experienced
dancers.


This practica is $5 or free if members purchase Mary’s fabulous and cheap
dinner.


Cnr Redfern & George Street, Redfern


Great dance floor, ambience, friendly with lots of parking at the door,
security guard
