Bundanoon Tango Weekend Retreat Wrap up


Wow, what a quality weekend of tango was enjoyed by over 100 people from
Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane & Melbourne. I am still on a high from all the
sights of Bundanoon, sounds of the country and tango music, new friends made
and of course 14 hours of beautiful Argentine Tango across the entire
weekend.

The town was very welcoming and we just loved the Soldiers hall – (many
thanks to Linda from Canberra who discovered it), which was a perfect venue
for our 2 workshops, 2 practicas and milonga (did I tell you it was all for
the total cost of $40).


Damian’s workshops were a hit. We’ve taken away some fantastic drills that
will improve our basics together with some advanced moves directly from
Gustavo & Chicho.


This event will definitely be run again annually and possibly bi-annual due
to its success. If you missed it this time, make sure you don’t miss it next
time. It was one big tango weekend party, particularly since many of us
stayed in the same hotels and were able to mingle at dinner, breakfast &
lunch.


I have a number of photos which I will load up onto our website as soon as I
can.

Thanks for all of you who did come along and be a part of this fantastic
event.


Ps I have a sweaty red towel & singlet that was left behind, let me know if
it’s yours.


Wednesday night Practica this week at Mr Marys


We’ve been so fortunate to have access to this wonderful venue. It offers
friendly vibe, great dance floor and variety of music.


Time: 8pm – midnight


DJ: Blinky is our DJ tonight


This practica is $5 or free if members purchase dinner before 9pm


Cnr Redfern & George Street, Redfern


Great dance floor, ambience, friendly with lots of parking at the door,
security guard


We look forward to seeing you at both these events.
