Hi Tangueros,

I would like to nominate the following people for the upcoming synergy
elections for 2008!!

NOMINATIONS

Rachel bond as vice president, she has a strong background in the
logistics of running a non-profit organization with over 6yrs
involvement with farrah a non profit organization within the Egyptian
dance community. Combined with Rachel's passion for  tango she would be
a valuable asset.
Rachel has already started establishing relationships with tango
communities in other parts of Australia, enabling sister programs to be
started with other tango organizations.

Megan Currie as treasurer, with her track history to date taking care of
synergy finances and her valuable assistance with playlists and special
milongas she has proven beyond a doubt how valuable she is to synergy.

Karen Garnett as an ordinary member, being one of the key figures in
synergy 2007, she has put in an enormous amount of energy for synergy
and we would suffer without her input support and guidance for the
upcoming year.

Rebecca Rashid as an ordinary member has given her support at mister
marys since it was established making sure dj's have been organized and
is a valuable figure who synergy can rely on to provide assistance and
have a positive welcoming energy at milongas.

Natalia Varakina as an ordinary member is an enthusiastic tango dancer
whose personality and love of tango has been there from the beginning of
synergy's inception.

CURRENTLY NOMINATED

The following people have already been nominated.

Chris condron as president nominated by Jan Sargent (aka jj) second by
Megan currie

William Wright as secretary nominated by Rachel Bond and seconded by
David B.
