[Tango Synergy Members] Buenos Aires in the Southern Highlands is back! 22-23 November 2008

Tango Synergy and the Tango Social Club of Canberra are combining forces
again this year to bring you BASH II – Buenos Aires in the Southern
Highlands.

 

If you went to the highly successful inaugural BASH last year, then we’re
pretty confident that you’ll put the weekend of the 22-23 November in your
diary for BASH II this year. 

 

The BASH weekend is when we take tango to the hills and Bundanoon becomes
one big tango bar. Being a joint venture between our two community
organisations, it’s a great meeting of the waters with lots of opportunities
to get to know and dance with dancers from Canberra. Last year about 90
people attended, with even numbers from Sydney and Canberra represented
together with a peppering of dancers from Brisbane. This year we’re
expecting people from Melbourne to join us.

 

BASH consists of a mix of practicas and milongas throughout the weekend. All
events are held in the beautiful art deco Soldiers Memorial Hall in the
centre of town within walking distance to a wide range of accommodation. 

 

This tango weekend is run by volunteers so you won’t believe the tango
package we’re able to put together. We are currently working on some ideas
to make BASH II even more enjoyable this year.
