BASH is back! 22-23 November 2008

If you went to BASH last year, and like almost everyone there said 'this
is great, can we do it again next year?', then put 22-23 November in
your diary for BASH II. If you missed out last year, then don't let that
stop you, come along this year and find out what you missed out on!

BASH stands for 'Buenos Aires in the Southern Highlands', when we take
tango to the hills and Bundanoon becomes one big tango bar. It's a joint
venture between Tango Synergy and Tango Social Club of Canberra, so it's
a great meeting of the waters, with lots of opportunities to get to
know, and dance with, dancers from Canberra. Last year about 90 people
attended, with basically even numbers from Sydney and Canberra
represented, and even few from Brisbane thrown in for good measure.

BASH consists of a mix of practicas and milongas throughout the weekend.
All events are held in the beautiful art deco Soldiers Memorial Hall in
the centre of town, and within walking distance from a wide range of
accommodation. We are currently working on some ideas to make BASH II
not necessarily bigger, but certainly even more enjoyable, this year. So
watch this space over the next few weeks.
